It's a hidden gem. Honestly loved the stay. There's a thai restaurant connected to the hotel. A nice lake next to everyone was friendly and the hotel was great.

It was a super cozy stay. I was welcomed shortly after arriving in the evening. Even tho the restaurant was fully booked I was able to have my truffle pasta in a more quiet area. Which I appreciated after a long day of work training. The staff was amazing. They helped me while I was not feeling so well in the morning.

The staff was really friendly and helpful! There is also a cafe and restaurant attached to the hotel, which not only smells amazing but is really convenient! Despite the close proximity to the rooms, the noise and aromas of the busy restaurant do not carry into the rooms, which I found to be quiet, peaceful and clean.

Having travelled extensively and stayed in many high-quality places around the world, I have rarely—if ever—encountered hosts as gracious and genuine as Herr Maier and his team. The setting is beautiful, with both the rooms and the restaurant offering stunning views over the lake and surrounding forest, which is perfect for long walks and exploration. The food was consistently excellent—whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner—and animals were welcomed with open arms, which we truly appreciated. But what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Herr Maier and his staff showed unwavering attention to detail and went above and beyond for their guests. When we ran into trouble with a flat tire on a bank holiday, they bent over backwards to help us, and we were incredibly touched by their kindness. We are deeply grateful and thoroughly impressed—and will most certainly return.

Location was so good. The bed was really comfortable. Staff were brilliant. And the aircon was working this time.

All things are perfect, but a small thing I wanna say, it was a problem with the bathroom

Excellent location to commute to University or Research Centers nearby. Short walking also to old city center.

This is a beautifully kept property. The owner’s family have been there for at least 2 generations. Klaus (?) is super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Rooms, breakfast area and everywhere is so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was superb with every choice catered for. It was even suggested that I make a sandwich with some of the bread, meat and salad that I hadn’t eaten for breakfast. I would 100% come back and stay there.

Great people ralf and my big bearded Kazakhstan brother were amazing great hosts! as they said I came a stranger and left a friend will definitely recommend to anybody traveling solo, drinking buddy's for life I will return

Very convenient to centre of town. Excellent breakfast.

Family run hotel. At least one family member was on site at all times, usually 2 or more. Mr. Bremer worked late into the night and was part of the early morning crew. The family (and all of the staff) were friendly and customer centered.

Convenient location near the highway. Big clean rooms. Delicious breakfast.

Breakfast was good. the lady who preparing the breakfast is very nice and cooperative
