Quiet, clean and comfortable room, close to the central station. We slept with open window (towards the yard) but no disturbing noise. Great breakfast. New bathroom. Refrigerator and coffee/tea in the room. Lots of cheap restaurants in the street.

The hotel was perfect in every way. It was clean & bright & very close to the main square & train station.The artwork was amazing. The staff Alex, Reza & Gabi were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions of how to get around this lovely city. Highly recommend Design- und Kunsthotel for your Munich stay.

The staff were amazing!! We travelled with two babies and they gave us two joint rooms. The receptionist and the lady in the dining room were particularly nice, although everyone was very friendly and kind. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

I stayed here for 3 nights and found the hotel and room beautiful. The lobby and bar area is very modern looking and very nice. The reception team were extremely professional and helpful. The room was very cosy and comfortable - lovely bed, lovely shower and the location is perfect! Only a few minutes walk to the nearest train station and shopping area. There is also a Christmas market located only a minute walk away. When I travel again I will 100% be checking to see if there is a Motel One in whatever city I go to

Great central and quiet location for wandering the main streets and old town in Munich, easily walking distance to great restaurants and biergartens, and only a few mins walk to Marienplatz.

i really loved the concept of the vintage train hotel. it was a unique stay and we really enjoyed it. the location was also excellent, the room very clean and convenient and the staff friendly and willing to help.

Centra, quite and suited my purpose

Beautiful luxury hotel with an amazing vibe. The rooms were stunning, from the materials and colors to the textures and thoughtful amenities, everything felt carefully curated and high quality. The location was perfect too, which made the whole stay even better.
