the hotel location is ideal if you want to be slightly outside Palma but reachable by bus/taxi. Perfect little beach right at the steps of the hotel. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Lovely food, lovely drinks. beautiful views. 10/10.

we liked this beach, easy to get to on bus 4 ( from the city...

we liked this beach, easy to get to on bus 4 ( from the city). ( only 2euros) the restaurants/ bars on the beach were a great place to sit with a beer and people watch. felt safe and was very relaxing. only a short walk down a small hill, could manage in a wheelchair quite easily, beach bars accessible.

Cala Major beach is one of the prettiest if not prettiest...

Cala Major beach is one of the prettiest if not prettiest beaches in Mallorca. It gets very crowded, especially during the tourist season, which is from Easter til the end of October. Best avoided altogether in July and August. There are a couple of overpriced and very touristy cafes and shops, but I would recommend to simply bring a drink and snack and avoid those entirely. Amazing sunset views, so try to be there in the evening when there are also less people sunbathing. Unfortunately, the way some people behave at the beaches is pretty unpleasant. People are generally not in the nude at this beach, but can be nearly nude and displaying themselves in a way that can be considered to be quite vulgar, so just be aware of that, especially if bringing children or older people with you.

The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes walk from Cala Major beach and a regular bus close by that brings you into Palma. We had a late flight & they provided shower facilities which was great. The staff were very helpful.
