Beautiful location for restful moments with family, view of the snowy white slopes, extraordinary equipped gym! We did not use the swimming pool and sauna but it is also available. Great excursions (ice fishing, raindeer sleigh ride, snowmobile), all well organized and even when one bus was too cold they immediately organized a car to pick us up! Excellent food and very friendly staff!

Situated in central Kemijarvi, this hotel is less than 8 km from the Arctic Circle. It provides free WiFi. Rovaniemi city centre is 87 km away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Kemijärvi! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. Every corner, from the rooms to the common areas, was spotless and welcoming, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. A special thanks goes to Vlrgemir, who truly made our experience exceptional. His politeness and helpful nature stood out immediately. He went above and beyond, answering all our questions with patience and ensuring we felt at home. The restaurant on the first floor is delicious. I highly recommend dining there. The hotel rooms are average, but it was super quiet and warm to sleep in.

A romantic getaway in a beautiful forested area. We stayed for two nights in the summer during the off-season and enjoyed every moment—the surrounding nature, the terrace, the sauna, and the fireplace. The interior and appliances are a bit dated, so don't expect state-of-the-art technology or modern furniture. That said, it all adds to the place's lived-in, vintage charm, which we really enjoyed.

Very well constructed and located cottage. It was very close to the ski slopes and amenities were reachable. You definitely need a car to be reaching and commuting around. We were a couple and there was plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the aspects of the cottage including the architecture, ambience, facilities and cosy feel. It was a perfect get away for us. Happy to recommend it to anyone. The personal sauna and fireplace made it even better.
