Great location on the top of the hill. Close to the archaeological sites and town. Our room (304, which was a free upgrade) had gorgeous views of the courtyard and pool with the valley in the distance, absolutely stunning! The room had everything you could need. Breakfast and dinner both exceeded our expectations, and the service was great. We had no issues finding parking out front of the hotel. We would definitely rebook and recommend to anyone coming to the area

We enjoyed a memorable dinner in a wonderful setting, where every detail – from the authentic flavors to the impeccable service – was thoughtfully prepared. We felt privileged, and we sincerely thank the entire restaurant team for the professional way they treated us. The outdoor pool, surrounded by greenery, adds an extra touch of relaxation, while the overall atmosphere of the hotel makes you feel like a welcome guest in a large and friendly home, rather than just a tourist in a lodging facility. Amalia Hotel successfully blends modern comfort with the subtle fragrance of Olympia’s history, offering each guest the chance to live an authentic, serene, and unforgettable experience. It is a place you leave with difficulty, but one you are happy to know you will return to.

THIE IS ONE OF THE FABOLOUS PLACES WE VISITED. IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT HERE THAN YOU SHOULD START AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. IF I HAD THIS INFORMATION BEFORE I WOULD HAVE STAYED IN ONE OF THE HOTELS VERY NEARBY . BEING LIMITED IN MOBILTY ( OLD AGE ) I WAS OFFERED TO GO ARROUND THE SITE WITH MOBILTY SCOOTER WITH A VERY NICE GENLEMAN FROM THE SITE. VERY MU CH WORTH ASKING

The accomodation is well located to visit Ancient Olympia. You can reach everything on foot. The hotel and the room are beautifully furnished, very modern and clean. Everything you need is there. The host is very nice, you immediately feel welcome. He gives recommendations for visiting Olympia and has good restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is excellent. You can park right outside the door. We would come back at any time.

We loved this place, and particularly enjoyed the position both for its proximity to Ancient Olympia (an easy 6 or 7 mins drive away) and also for its distance from it! Our morning walks took us into an area of rural Greece that we had not visited before - where we enjoyed absolute tranquility and felt a calmness which reached to the core. The garden, too, is a little haven. The apartment was beautifully fitted out and we were able to cook and enjoy the generous treats left by Demetra.

Our second visit to this hotel some 10 years after our first! A very convenient hotel to stay, in a small, quiet village, if you are visiting Ancient Olympia just down the road The hotel has a lovely position on a hill, looking across a small valley to the western horizon, perfect for watching lovely sunsets from the restaurant at dinner. The food is excellent too, very Greek in the best way, with good portion sizes: for example, their grilled lamb chops were not only delicious but numerous!

This hotel is a masterpiece of architecture, built in the late 70s by the renowned Greek architect, Nikos Valsamakis. It is an amazing property very well maintained up to date by the owners. The staff is very hospitable and kind. The food is also very tasty and authentic. Conveniently located 5’ by car from the archaeological site of ancient Olympia. I strongly recommend it as a perfect option for visiting Olympia.

It is a nice location, close to the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, with easy access to restaurants, local stores and marketplaces. It is a beautiful hotel with a pool and pool bar-restaurant. The personnel was also very kind. The room was good enough for a short stay for a 3-member family.

This is a really charming small hotel within walking distance to the Ancient Olympia Archeological Site. Each room had a nice little balcony looking out onto the street. The staff kindly gave us a very good restaurant recommendation for dinner. The town itself is really lovely in a gorgeous setting.
