Hotels near Heroes' Square, Budapest

Everything... quiet area, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely room, friendly staff, not to mention the beautiful staircase from the 19th century.

Wonderful location. Far from the city crowds but still convenient to the city center via M1 line. Very close to metro station. Also close to Hösök tere (heroes square) and Varosliget park famous for its pools and baths. I especially liked the air conditioning, which worked perfectly well on a very very hot Budapest weekend. It is a centralized air conditioning but you can set the room temperature. It is very well positioned so the cold air does not blow towards you which is the main problem generally with most air conditioning. It is an old and classy building with a charm and history. Turkish poet Nazım Hikmet and many others lived in this hotel and there is a little corner outside the hotel dedicated to their memories. The room size is good, beds are comfy, the balcony is a bonus. I also advise that you walk around the little streets back to the hotel (not just the Andassy ut) because those streets towards bajza utca street are so beautiful and quiet, full of old and classy buildings. These streets were certainly the same 100 years ago so it gives a nice feeling in the busy 2000s.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The location is perfect - right near the metro, bars, and plenty of restaurants. The room was spotless and well-maintained. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide selection of desserts that changed almost every day - such a nice touch! What truly won me over was the surprise for my birthday. Even though my birthday was two days before check-in, the team still prepared something special. It absolutely made our evening! That kind of thoughtful gesture shows how much they care about their guests. I’ll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommend!

Edita on reception was AMAZING! she was so helpful&gave us so much information about where to go/what to see. She gave us lots of hints&tips and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The hotel upgraded us to room 401 for my husbands 50th birthday...champers&hot tub, own terrace....perfect. thank you so much.

The location was perfect, it was 2 min walk to Heroes Square, and 5 min walk to subway station. The hotel room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is near a park, and my favorite square. Public transport is available. The parking in the hotel was a huge bonus for me. The breakfast was standard for a hotel, I liked it. The staff was kind and polite.

Our stay at Six Inn Hotel was really wonderful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The Hotel is located at a very quiet street so that you can get a good night's sleep. But most of all, the staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Greetings to Estella, the receptionist, who made our day and the best Cappuccino!

Well this place is exceptional, not less. We stayed here 4 nights. And would stay more but they were fully booked. I am so happy I chose this place over some overpriced hotels with names. The apartment was renovated recently and it was extremely spacious. We felt like a royal family in it, not less. It was cleeeeean. I think the cleanest I ever saw and I saw my fare share of accommodations. The shampoo, gel and lotion smell were GORGEOUS. And the bed was huuuuuuge. We slept so well. My husband didn’t want to go sightseeing because guess what?… It felt so good staying at the apartment lol Ishtwan met us upon arrival to Budapest and was extremely hospitable. Smiling! Kind! Friendly! Half of Budapest service workers need a masterclass from Ishtwan on hospitality. Bernadetta was stunning. So easygoing, relaxed, unperturbed yet very helpful.

My recent two-night stay at Silver Hotel Budapest City Centre to see in the New Year went perfectly. I was delighted to experience the first snow of the winter and the extra magic it gave to Budapest, I spent two very comfortable nights in the hotel, which although a little old-fashioned, had a nostalgic atmosphere and the breakfast the next morning was plentiful, with a good choice of hot drinks and fruit juices. There was a splendid view of the Budapest rooftops to be enjoyed from the sixth floor by the breakfast room, which was enhanced by the fresh layer of snow everywhere. Although I was unable to have my breakfast at the hotel on my second morning, as I had to leave early for my flight back to England, the kitchen staff were very kind and made up several freshly made sandwiches for my breakfast that morning, along with a large carton of orange juice, which I am very grateful for. All the staff, including those at reception were very friendly and helpful and very interesting to chat with. The Silver Hotel is ideally situated near to Budapest City Centre, and is only 5 minutes' walk from the nearest Metro station on Line 1. A big 'Thank You'! to everyone and Happy New Year!

Stayed there 2 times, amazing hotel. Close to the city center (reachable easily by foot), great district, comfy rooms and amazing delicious breakfast.
