Very well cleaned and decorated. Easy access to the city center with public transportations but it's located on the greenery island so that it was quiet and beautiful. We loved inside thermal pools and breakfast place most. Plus Croissant Sandwitches (Room Service) was wonderful. We ordered twice :-) We could experience Eastern European tycial dense fog and see lots of people run or walk in there which looked very healthy and beautiful.

We stayed at Danubius Hotel Helia in March this year and had an exceptional experience: 1. Our ROOM was clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. We had “Superior Twin Room with Danube View” and it was totally equipped according to the description. The day we booked in, there was also a bottle of water as hotel’s compliment. View of river was magic. 2. The BREAKFASTS were delicious and had a variety of options to choose from each morning. From fresh fruit to hot dishes, there was something for everyone, and the quality was consistently high. 3. The SPA-ZONE was spotlessly clean and included: indoor swimming pool (26-28°C), 2 Heated pools (32-34°C, and 36-38°C) and Jacuzzi with hot water. We attended Spa-Zone primally in silent hours (from 07.00 am to 09.00 am and from 08.00 pm to 10.00 pm) because the rest of time the large swimming pool was overcrowded with some sort of aquaaerobics groups, who simply blocked the swimming pool making impossible to swim there. There were bathrobes in the room for a comfortable visiting Spa-Zone. 4. The LOCATION of the Hotel is really excellent: beautiful embankment, variety of shops, there are metro and bus stops nearby (easy to get to anywhere in Budapest). 5. The STAFF: from check-in to check-out, everyone I encountered was incredibly polite and accommodating. The only awkward situation happened during check-in because the manager for some unknown reason decided to communicate with me in russian, despite the fact that I spoke English to him and continued to answer his questions in English. That was weird and VERY UNPLEASANT. Overall, I highly recommend Danubius Hotel Helia for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

You're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere when you step into the lobby. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the local attractions, offering valuable insights to enhance your tourist experience. Especially Mr. Andrew was very helpful and accommodating to my needs as a solo traveler. The well-appointed rooms are equipped with modern amenities, creating a conducive environment for productivity. The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and spacious work desk were particularly beneficial for my work-related tasks.
