My stay at House of Tugu was beyond all expectations. The property itself is absolutely unique – more like staying inside a living museum than a hotel. I was even given a complimentary museum tour, which made the experience even more special. The room was gorgeous, beautifully designed, and I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade upon arrival. Afternoon tea and dinner were outstanding – among the best I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere was calm and intimate, never crowded, which made the entire stay feel even more exclusive. Without hesitation, I can say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. A truly exceptional place that I recommend with the highest praise.

The property is well maintained. Room was superb cleaned and linen were fresh and clean. All the staff were amazing from front office to restaurant to housekeeping. At the main entrance door Mr. MIFTAH is very professional and charming guy. Always greeting everyone with big smile and ready to help. He is your gem team member. Wish him best wishes in his career in hospitality. Once again thank you for a great hospitality. When ever i come to Jakarta i stay here.

The hotel is situated 20min walk from Old Town but the walk is not a pleasant one because of a busy road. The room we booked was upgraded so we stayed in a comfortable apartment on the 22th floor. The room was really spacious and well maintained however there were some details to improve such as sofas' fabric which needs cleaning. The bathroom is huge with all needed facilities. The hotel restaurant serves tasty and various food. The staff is kind and friendly. The place is a good choice if you want to visit The Old Town of Jakarta or China Town. Getting to the international airport in an early evening took us about 1hour and 20min by taxi.

I absolutely loved it!! It is like stepping back in time to a bygone era. Opened in the 90s, the hotel feels like stepping even further back in time . My room was beautifully panelled in real wood in a style I would associate more with the 70s. Same for the restaurant with its wooden furniture - sumptuous breakfast to be had there as well. Classy in a retro way. The staff were extremely courteous, again bringing back memories of bygone days. And the views from my room on the 16th floor were spectacular! I also liked that it is located in a vibrant neighbourhood, allowing me to have a look at the real every day life in Jakarta. Bus station and train station are close, for exploring Jakarta.

All good, the environment is very good, and the food is also great. It is the best among the hotels I stayed in Jakarta (although it is also relatively expensive but it is okay)
