SwitzerlandThe room was beautiful and very spacious. The bathroom was very modern and clean with a big shower. We loved the way the breakfast is done in the room, with fresh pastries on the door each morning and the fridge filled with a variety of delicious breakfast items. Outside of the room the hotel is also beautiful and the parking in the back, which has a closed gate, is very convenient too. We highly recommend the restaurant in the hotel as well. Overall we loved our stay and hope to come back again!

United KingdomHad a lovely stay in Harbour View for 1 night before an early start to Skellig the next morning. We were met by Marie and the sweet little donkeys, and they could not have been more welcoming! The apartment itself has fantastic views and was so cosy and comfortable, just what we needed after a few days' camping in rough weather. It had everything we needed for our short stay, including a kitchenette with small oven, hob and a microwave, as well as a dishwasher and fridge. The gorgeous sunroom was perfect to enjoy our morning coffee and eggs, which were all provided for us. Really couldn't have asked for more, would definitely recommend!

Book far ahead - six months! - and be mentally prepared in case the weather doesn't cooperate. If conditions aren't safe for a landing you will likely still be able to take a boat just offshore and enjoy this amazing place. But if you do get to land like we did, wear appropriate footwear and take along rangear, water and snacks. If you are shy of unprotected heights or don't like walking up and down over 600 rock steps, this isn't the place for you to hike. But if you're OK with that you'll have an experience of a lifetime.

Everything downstairs was fantastic. Beautiful food, wonderful staff, especially the exceptionally friendly barman Evan, and the breakfast waitress. It is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Perfect for exploring Valentia and the Skellig Ring, and for trips to Skellig Michael

Absolutely everything was amazing. On the page says no breakfast but there was milk, biscuits, fruits, cake, bread, coffee, tea. So clean and view on Skellig Michael. Walking distance to port. Bed so comfortable. You can park the front of the door. Contact with Monica is outstanding- text back so quick. Check in available after stated hours.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location couldn’t be better for tours to Skellig Michael – only a short distance from the departure point and local amenities.
The staff were excellent throughout our stay: friendly, very responsive to any questions, and a pleasure to deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to the area.

I loved the location and the access to the Kerry Cliffs, where there is a great view of Skellig Michael. Marie was a great host. The balcony view room is cozy, clean and feels like home away from home. It's close to Portmagee, Valentia Island and Cahersiveen.

It’s an ideal apartment, fully equipped, warm, clean, comfortable and quiet.

A super host, really helpful and friendly and assisted with booking a trip to Skellig Michael.
The accommodation was a home from home, everything we needed, with tea, coffee, milk bread, eggs waiting for us and a beautiful view too!

The location was perfect. We were scheduled for a tour of Skellig Michael (unfortunately cancelled) and the hotel couldn't be more convenient. The room was clean. Check-in was easy. Price was reasonable compared to other options in the area.

Not much to say, really. It was exactly as expected. Two good-sized rooms with double beds, a kitchen area, and a seating area. You share the building with another apartment and use the same front door, but we didn't meet them at all. We went on a Skellig Michael landing tour, and they graciously allowed us to leave our car there. It was a five-minute walk to where you meet the skippers. There's also amazing food a four- to five-minute walk away.
