IrelandExcellent stay from start to finish. The room was beautifully done, very clean, modern and comfortable, with a high-quality finish throughout. You can really see the effort that has gone into refurbishing the hotel. Check-in was smooth and the reception area looks fantastic. Great central location and having the traditional Irish bar and bistro on site was a huge bonus. The staff made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Book far ahead - six months! - and be mentally prepared in case the weather doesn't cooperate. If conditions aren't safe for a landing you will likely still be able to take a boat just offshore and enjoy this amazing place. But if you do get to land like we did, wear appropriate footwear and take along rangear, water and snacks. If you are shy of unprotected heights or don't like walking up and down over 600 rock steps, this isn't the place for you to hike. But if you're OK with that you'll have an experience of a lifetime.

Marie was very friendly and genrous helping get settled into my apartement. She even arranged a spot for me to visit the Skellig Michael Isalnd after my originaly boat trip was cancelled due to rough seas.
Marie had kindly left milk, butter, jam, toast,cookies ready for me when I arrived.

It was very clean, and well located for Portmagee and visiting Skellig Michael. plenty of parking. host provided extra airbed as I had booked double room instead of room with 2 x beds.

Very well equipped with everything you may need during your stay. Close to Portmagee Marina (2min walk), perfect if you’re doing the Skellig Michael tour. Comfortable beds. Spacious.

Great size, we went there to goto the Skellig Michael tour and it was great location for the harbour. Property well proportioned with 3 good size bedroom, had everything you. Needed. Can't fault it.

Everything downstairs was fantastic. Beautiful food, wonderful staff, especially the exceptionally friendly barman Evan, and the breakfast waitress. It is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Perfect for exploring Valentia and the Skellig Ring, and for trips to Skellig Michael

Perfect location for a Skellig Michael trip, 2-3 minute drive to the Portmagee harbour where you board the boats.
It’s an ideal apartment, fully equipped, warm, clean, comfortable and quiet.
Hassle free check in and a great stay all round.

The location was perfect. We were scheduled for a tour of Skellig Michael (unfortunately cancelled) and the hotel couldn't be more convenient. The room was clean. Check-in was easy. Price was reasonable compared to other options in the area.

Not much to say, really. It was exactly as expected. Two good-sized rooms with double beds, a kitchen area, and a seating area. You share the building with another apartment and use the same front door, but we didn't meet them at all. We went on a Skellig Michael landing tour, and they graciously allowed us to leave our car there. It was a five-minute walk to where you meet the skippers. There's also amazing food a four- to five-minute walk away.
