CanadaIf your main goal to see the northern lights, this is the best place you can imagine. The sky is dark, no sources of light pollution around, mountains aside are not tall, so you see the sky from left to right without obstacles. We had chance to see beautiful northern lights, and it was awesome. Just use one of two large spaces on the road that lead to the hotel, there are the darkest spots for observing. Hotel is very clean and soundproof. Good breakfast.

What a great location, next to the Godafoss waterfall.
The hotel was nice, comfortable, very nice rooms and bathroom. Everything was clean.
We had breakfast and dinner here. No complaints.

Location was excellent, right across from the popular Godafoss waterfalls! Price of $265 was not bad for a last minute booking a few hours earlier for a triple bed room. Staff was excellent and kind! I'd recommend booking this hotel for anybody looking to stay around this area.

This hotel is across the road from Goðafoss Waterfall near Lake Myvatn which is perfect for an early visit of the falls. We viewed the falls before breakfast which was excellent. There are several different rooms at this hotel. We didn't know what type of room we would have before arrival. The room was a good size but the shower was tiny.

Hotel is in a remote area, however close to Godafoss waterfall. Room is basic but clean. Breakfast was included in the price but it was very limited.

This was one of our favourite properties on our tour of Iceland. It is located well away from the ring road in open countryside with wonderful views. Godafoss waterfall is very close as are horse riding rentals.the breakfast was excellent too.

Great location, 5-10min away from Goðafoss waterfall and 40min away from Húsavík. We stayed here the night before our whale watching tour in Húsavík. Great breakfast (possibly the best scrambled eggs I ever had). And a very friendly farm cat greeting us.

A beautiful location with incredibly kind hosts. It's very close to Goðafoss Waterfall (1-2mins drive) so we were able to admire the waterfall at sunset and sunrise - truly breathtaking!
