As architects, we absolutely love this hotel which enhances the original 17th century convent complex. The staff is super attentive. The room had a lovely view of the courtyard garden which is a bonus in the warm months. The details of the room are all carefully curated and of high quality.

All the staff at HT6 were wonderful from the concierge to the bartender. They went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. We loved the cozy setting and the decor of the lobby and the breakfast area; lots of interesting paintings and furnishings. Breakfast was beautifully set up and and there was a lot of variety to choose from. The hotel was situated in the Jewish Ghetto, easy walking distance to all of Rome's historical sites

Set between the Coliseum and Piazza Venezia, the Romano is a boutique hotel overlooking the Roman Forum. The rooms are uniquely decorated and set over 4 floors of a historical building.

No dislikes but if you’re after hotel facilities there are none as this is a boutique hotel so that’s the only reason I have marked down. Everything you need however is a step away. Hotel may be marked 2 star but it’s 5 star for service, cleanliness, location etc. I would recommend this hotel to any visitor to Rome.
