Typical Japanese guest house in Chikatsu. The guest is extraordinary, the dinner was really tasty and authentic. House is large with plenty of space, even for the kids to play. The guest offers games, beers (!!!!), and all that is needed for those trekking the kumano kodo. Even a super massage chair! Truly recommended

True Japanese hospitality in the traditional style, wonderful food (breakfast and dinner) and the special on site experience requiring a walk through a tunnel is certainly memorable. Our hosts were always smiling and friendly and helped us with a bus reservation (which was vital)

Guest house Yata was beautiful. It has everything you need and close to the bus that takes you to Hosshinmo Oji to walk the last 7.5kms of the Kumano Kodo. You won’t be disappointed with Yata it’s is very nice.
