The location was absolutely breathtaking, we visited in autumn but I'm already planning my next visit for winter! The staff were so lovely and accommodating, not everyone spoke perfect english but they make a genuine effort to make us feel welcome none the less. I loved the onsen, we used the private and public facilities and found them so relaxing. We ate in the restaurant every morning and once for dinner, the food was so well done and we loved getting a taste of the local cuisine. Seriously 10/10 its not the cheapest stay but it is worth the price.

It is one of the best places I have stayed at in my long life. It felt like home as soon as I stepped in. I left with regret and wished I could stay longer. Onsen power. Sober, airy style throughout, matching the pristine surrounding forests. Spacious rooms to sit, look within and finally rest. The common area is diverse. If I had been travelling with friends, I would have played babyfoot in armchair, or ping pong. The onsen is out of this world. Rejuvenation. You are not bothered by anything or anyone and yet you feel cared for.

We loved this place, right next to zao ropeway. 2 min drive to Lawsons, could easy walk there. Only one night here. Comfortable and new. Shared kitchen and eating area was great. Good for chatting to other travellers. It was self check-in which went well. Very secure building as no staff are there. 7 rooms. Stairs but they were ok, we were on 2nd floor. An overnight bag is easy to manage.

The hotel offers shuttle bus to Zao Ropeway Station. Breakfast and dinners were lovely and good value. Staff speaks adequate English. There’s coin laundry. Plenty of parking space.

The staff and owners are very kind and helpful. We went during winter where there was heavy snow, and they offered pickup and drop off from bus station to hotel, to onsen, to restaurant and Zao ropeway.
