The Stanford Hotel is not located in Andong City - it is about a 20-30 minute taxi ride from Andong Train Station. It is in a peaceful isolated location (basically in the middle of nowhere!), but the hotel is modern with good sized rooms. The onsite restaurant was also very nice, and we enjoyed our meal there. There is a 24 hour convenience store onsite and a cafe/bakery. There are washing facilities (pay) and parking. We had a view to the mountain, but it is situated by a lake and there are lake view rooms. It is close to Hahoe Village. We enjoyed the peacefulness of this location, and didn't mind taking the taxi into Andong City as taxis are cheap. However, for a 4 star hotel it lacks the little extras such as shower caps, iron/iron board in the room, but we would stay at this hotel again if we have the opportunity to visit Andong again!

Room was ok, got underground parking, despite the info there was no availability, a little basic but good for one night, close to Hahoe Historic Village, so ideal to start the day there in the morning

The room was super spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. It even had a bathtub to relax after a day exploring the area and historical spots in Andong. Close to a market and several restaurants and cafes. The property has anough parking space if you're getting there by car.
