The Hotel is beautiful, comfortable and we got a very good breakfast. Service is good and friendly. The location is really great, you are in the best place of downtown Querétaro.

Casa de la Marquesa is a beautiful colonial Mansion in the heart of Queretaro downtown. The rooms are elegantly appointed with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with all amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall it is an excellent value for money and a wonderful experience of Colonial Mexico.

Excellent location in the heart of the historic area. A short walk allows you to explore most of the points of interest. The hotel is a small property which provided the opportunity to meet other guests over a morning coffee in the lobby. The rooms were well appointed and very clean.

Excellent hotel, rooms well equipped with everything down to the shoe Polish and sewing kit! Definitwly my new favourite hotel to stay in whenever I visit Queretaro. Lovely rooftop restaurant!

Location is fabulous- we had such a good time within walking distance of the hotel. Plenty of cafes and places to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Was close to many of the venues we had to attend in Queretaro. The room was great size and comfortable

Location was perfect, right at the historic center. I got the most basic room, size a bit small but the bed was clean and comfortable. The building itself looks beautiful.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff was kind and helpful, the breakfasts we fresh and wonderful. The area is safe very clean and I felt at home from the moment I arrived.

A five star hotel after all these years. Staff was attentive to all our needs. Paulina was awesome. Even special requests were met. No complaints whatsoever.

Very nice rooms in a good quality. Also the reception was very nice and helped us to find a stylist very fast for vair and styling, because we were invited to a wedding and there were some chaos with planing.

This lovely hotel is in the centre of the Centro Historico and it is very easy to walk to all the beautiful squares which make this a Unesco World Heritage site. There is a very friendly bar opposite and we ate at a nearby restaurant Tikua (which was excellent) when we were not working. The hotel is comprised of a variety of different rooms, mainly I think suites effectively. We had a beautiful bedroom with a linked bathroom and upstairs a sitting room. This was around £100 per night. The rooms are around a leafy courtyard or a roof terrace. That roof terrace is lovely, with plants and trees. There is a bar but this was not open whilst we were there. I really loved that this is an ancient building lovingly restored by its architect owner. From a pre Spanish irrigation system to the enormous doors with Art Nouveau metalwork and restored painted walls. So beautiful and matched with modern (but in keeping) additions where necessary. I would be delighted to go there again. The breakfasts were great. We had fresh fruit, a small amount of yoghurt and Chilaquiles with green salsa and eggs. Excellent. The staff were very very helpful indeed. The cook wrote out her recipe for green salsa, which was lovely!

Perfect location in the historic centre (minutes walk from the main plazas), delicious breakfast, comfy room, super clean, friendly staff.

This was our second time here. We love this place!

Wonderfull Garden and nice rooms

The concept of the room. The property is located in the center of Queretaro. The mattress of the bed is very worn out; it is curved and uncomfortable, causing back pain. The door of the room doesn't close properly in the middle, leaving a large gap through which the interior of the room is easily visible. This lack of privacy made us feel uneasy. In the room, we detected hidden cameras, which we reported to the manager, who simply said she didn’t know about them. We had to cover the cameras with masking tape, as well as the gap in the door, to feel some degree of privacy. The room we reserved did not match the photos posted online. The hotel is located on a very narrow street where only one car can pass at a time, making it impossible to park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage without blocking traffic and risking a fine. The hotel has no parking, and it is inconvenient to walk several blocks with your luggage. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired; there was a musty smell, and it clearly needs maintenance. The whirlpool tub is clogged and does not work properly. Honestly, I do not recommend it and would not return unless it was my last option. I am attaching photos of the hidden cameras and the door gap so you can see what I mean.

It’s a great place if you are looking for local atractions. You can walk and visit many places.
