Wow! Just wow.
Wow! Just wow. Didn't expect much , but was pleasantly surprised and stayed for several hours. A whole wooden ship perfectly preserved, with lots of other historical exhibits. Impressive and unforgettable.LJILJANASpain - Scored 1010

One of the favourite museums I have been to, a true triumph. Get there at least two hours earlier than you thought you would need so you can take your time and soak it in - it's a real 15th century longboat, you can peek inside from the balcony and see the actual boards these people stood on, and on the ground floor there are some of the skeletal remains of the very people who walked on said boards - it's incredible!!!!

It's also a very short walk over the bridge to Gamla Stan and into Stockholm city centre. There's also a boat stop nearby at the bottom of the bridge where you can access a boat to Djurgardens for the Vasa Museum or the ABBA museum. The hotel itself is clean, well looked after and the staff are really helpful.

Shared shower and room was very nice and clean. There was a shared kitchen and had everything in it including 2 full fridge, coffee maker and filters. That was very important to us. Bike rental is 15 sec for a day but if you are hostel members it's free. Walkable to many places like Vasa museum, central station and Gamla stan.
