The location was excellent, very convenient for exploring the city and close to many attractions. The hotel did not have private parking but the staff kindly assisted us in finding a nearby parking place. A special thank you to Ms. Tuana, the manager, whose exemplary behavior and kindness made our stay even more special. From the very first day, she helped us a lot with our children and made us feel truly welcome. The entire staff was amazing — very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. One of the most touching moments was when they found out it was our daughter’s birthday and surprised her with a birthday cake. We highly recommend Hotel Balin to anyone visiting Istanbul and we would gladly stay there again.

The location was perfect close to trams and the nearby tourist spots. The room was small but comfy and modern.

A great stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, so welcoming and made the whole experience feel safe and enjoyable. We were also able to check in early, which was such a relief after a long journey. The location couldn’t have been better - right at the top of the hill, just a short walk to the bazaar and tram stop. Breakfast was fab, good fuel to start the day! As the area isn’t easily accessible by taxi, the staff kindly helped carry our bags to the nearest pickup point so really appreciated their support!

We love the location , near the main food street and very close to the bazar. The room was very comfortable and big enough for a family in comparison with other hotels in neighbourhood. It very good value for money. I highly recomend For example: We ask for 1 plus card( key) for the room and the staff was very helpfull and kindly they order for us without any fee.

Everything was spotless! This is our 4th visit and every time we spend wonderful days in the hotel. Room was specious, clean and well equipped. Restaurant staff always friendly and helpful, especially Azis. Many thanks to all your staff.

The location is very good. The hotel and staff is very friendly. I like breakfast and rooms are always clean. Meaby this hotel is not luxury but is better than all other hotels in that area. Latif is very kind, he always help us with information. We definitely recommend this hotel 🥰

Thank you to the hotel for the excellent service! The staff were very polite and the service was at a high level. They kindly upgraded us from a small room to a more spacious one, which made our stay much more comfortable. We came to Istanbul for a half marathon, and on the day of check-out we had our race. We asked for a late check-out so we could rest afterward, and the hotel gladly accommodated us. They also allowed us to leave our luggage until the evening. Special thanks to Mehmed at the reception — he helped us a lot, was very responsive, polite, and attentive. We will definitely come back 🙏

The hotel is right in the city centre, making it very easy to commute, with tram access close by, great restaurants around, and shopping areas nearby. The location is unbeatable, and the overall atmosphere made us feel completely at home. Good variety of breakfast too.. 10/10

Perfect location and genuinely welcoming stay* We had a wonderful stay at Grand Pazar Merve Hotel. The location is unbeatable — literally steps away from the Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, and trams. You can walk everywhere in Sultanahmet. The staff were the highlight. They were so helpful with directions, taxi bookings, and restaurant recommendations. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet despite being in the middle of everything. Breakfast was simple but fresh with Turkish tea and great views. If you want to experience Old Istanbul without the hassle, this hotel is it. I would 100% stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. Especially the hotel staff was friendly and smiling. Whatever is needed, they solve it instantly. What I liked the most is that it is right next to the tram and close to the main road. From this hotel, you can get anywhere. Before going, I read the reviews and came across some negative ones. Don't pay attention to them, this hotel is truly worth 10 stars.
