I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Des Arts Galata in Istanbul, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The hotel is perfectly situated near the iconic Galata Tower, making it an ideal base for exploring this vibrant part of the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond truly transformed our experience. Whether it was providing local tips, making reservations, or ensuring our stay was comfortable, they were always there with a smile and ready to assist. One highlight of our stay was their suggestion to visit the hotel's terrace on our last day. Although we were pressed for time, we decided to take a quick look—and we're so glad we did! The terrace offers a stunning view of the city, providing a breathtaking panorama that we would have regretted missing. It's a hidden gem that adds immense value to the hotel. The rooms at Hotel Des Arts Galata were another standout feature. They were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail in the room's decor added to the overall charm of the hotel. Traveling as a couple, we found Hotel Des Arts Galata to be a romantic and relaxing place to stay. The combination of the superb location, excellent staff, and comfortable accommodations made our trip to Istanbul truly memorable. If you're planning a visit to this amazing city, do yourself a favor and book your stay at Hotel Des Arts Galata—you won't be disappointed!

Galata Tower

Medieval Galata Tower pierces the clouds above Istanbul’s skyline, a soaring sentinel to the north of the Golden Horn. A replacement for a previous tower that was destroyed in the crusades, this one was built by the Genoese in 1348. or hundreds of years, it was the tallest building in Istanbul – and its uppermost balcony still offers unrivalled city views today.

As a traveler, I found this place very attractive and enjoyable to visit. The atmosphere is pleasant and well suited for people who like exploring city locations and popular spots. It is easy to access and fits well into a city sightseeing plan. The area feels lively, interesting, and well organized, making it a good stop while visiting the city. My name is NIMAX, and as a tourist from France and Iran who travels around the world, I appreciate places like this that offer a positive and smooth visiting experience. Overall, it is a good place to visit and worth recommending to other travelers.

My favorite spot !

My favorite spot ! Always end up in that area at night , because it’s always busy, coffee shops are open after midnight! You can always hang out there ! I also love all the gifts shops in that area , good places to be souvenirs cheaper than the Grand Bazaar. You can also buy a ticket to go up the Galata Tower and see Istanbul on 360 degrees scale. Beautiful!!! But be prepared for the long line at the ticket window!

Another joke which is not even Turkish, as most of the monuments. Anyway. 35 euros just to inside the tower. If you want to use the lift you’ll pay 60 euros to enter. Told you these guys are born thieves! Amazing.

You can't ask for a much better location close to Galata tower. It backs right onto the famous street. Excellent location to explore the rest of Beyoglu. It is family owned hotel and the owner was very polite and helpful. Breakfast is at a restaurant right in front of the tower which was very nice. Lovely boutique style hotel with a charming flair.

Modern apartment with all the necessary facilities (washer and dryer, air conditioning, cooking facilities and utensils, even a gym) at the heart of all the action near Galata Tower. We enjoyed the food options in this area and all the small boutiques and shops. It’s at a quiet area in this thriving area. Would stay again if ever in Istanbul. Absolutely yes! Istanbul is open restaurant. In every corner you can find perfect meal. Good to try fish restaurant in Bosphorous, or in Çiçek Pasajı. And also good to try restaurants in Maiden or Galata Tower with perfect city view. What it can be better than that!
