The Hotel is located in the heart of the city. Our room view was looking to the Galata Tower. Staff of the hotel was so friendly. Roof bar 🩵

The hotel was lovely. Clean, well kept and the staff were just lovely. Especially Siran and the lady who works the afternoon/early morning shifts. Our Junior suite was well priced and just delightful. The bed was comfortable and there is a loft if you have a lot of luggage, or stairs if you prefer. The room didn’t have a TV but that was fine for us. The wifi is good quality and free. If you include breakfast in your process, it is not on site. They have vouchers to give you for a nearby cafe which is also lovely and has good coffee. There is free coffee in the main lobby. The hotel was right near Galata Tower in the thick of beautiful old town. Plenty of restaurants and shops surrounding the area for souvenir shopping. Short walk to the Tunel Tramway and trams to get you to all of the main tourist attractions. I definitely recommend staying here.

Great location; great comfort; amazing terrace with astonishing view on 5th floor

The staff was very friendly, especially Murat - who helped me with directions and very heavy luggage, and Zeynip who also gave me good tips as well as kept in contact through WhatsApp - which made me feel very safe should I have needed anything, particularly as I was travelling alone.

The personel are very funy. The bathroom is modern .

I was truly inspired by the way he maintains the superior quality of the hotel, his professional staff and great customer service! I received a complimentary upgrade for the 4 days I stayed and we really loved the room & the view! Customer service:10/10 Staff like Yasin & team made all the difference. We were warmly welcomed and made us feel so welcomed and happy throughout the stay. Any special requests we made were immediately fulfilled and the response was super fast. Yasin gave me perfect guidance on how to navigate around the city, on most visited attractions i.e antique shops, chapels close by and on lovely restaurants/cafes. Rooms and Amenities: 10/10 The rooms are with high ceilings and and intricate designs. The bathroom fittings and all other equipments are quite new and well maintained. every thing has been done with attention to detail preserving the beauty of the hotel. The rooftop restaurant had an amazing view of the istanbul city! The food was amazing. Location: 10/10 Talking about the location, I believe this location is the true essence of Istanbul, Türkiye. I wouldn’t have chosen any other place other than “Georges Hotel Galata!” It’s simply few steps away from the Galata tower and all the amazing attractions, restaurants and shops.

Had an amazing time at Castellion Hotels Galata! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short, 3-minute walk to the Galata Tower and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and modern while preserving its historic charm. A huge thank you to the staff, who were incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful with city tips. Highly recommend!

The hotel is tiny, family run, has an amazing breakfast on the rooftop (5th floor) with spectacular views. The breakfast is atypical, exotically Turkish, in lots of little bowls, so one tastes lots of things. There is authentic Turkish tea, coffee and eggs in various ways. The rooms are exactly as in the pictures. And the best part is the location!!! A few steps (or stairs) from the tourist center, with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, sights... Right in the neighbourhood are ancient Christian churches. On the other side of the Bosphorus (10 min. across the Bosphorus) are the most famous mosques.

We loved this hotel, especially the staff. Yunus, front of house, made sure our stay was as perfect as possible, before we even arrived. He answered all our questions, provided us with excellent recommendations and helped us with bookings. He is a star and honestly the best we have ever encountered. When we reached the hotel, he provided us with a thorough explanation of the hotels history, and of the hotel services. The other front of house were also very nice and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, and very well laid out, with special treats as we were celebrating a special event. The location of the hotel, and it’s interior are amazing. The attention to detail is uncanny. Breakfast was nice, again in particular the staff. Hakan was always ready to serve us with a smile on his face :). Thank you all for making our trip so amazing!!! Everything! The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location (worth exploring the side streets). Lovely rooms with modern decor, and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a terrace room with a fantastic view of the Galata Tower and across to the east. As others have noted, there is no elevator but the stairs are easy to navigate and the staff insisted on helping out with the bags. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire World House team!

1 fantastic night, 1 disappointing one. Night one all good, night 2 there was a problem with communication and I wasn’t advised until 2 pm that they had double booked and there was no bed available for me. I had been advised on arrival the day before that I would need to move rooms. This was with non-English speaking reception staff.

The location was absolutely incredible. In the heart of Galata. With a view of the tower. 500m to istiklal and 500m to the tram station. Our room was the nicest room we had in Turkey. The staff were great and it’s surrounded by shops and restaurants. We will definitely come back.

What I liked the most isn’t the hotel itself, but the staff. They’re all extremely amazing. The first night was so bad because of other drunk annoying guests that kept making loud noises all night, yet when i raised this, the team ensured that we got another room with more light, better wifi and on a calm floor (the terrace floor). The breakfast was good as well, and the location is so strategic.
