We stayed at Nelwalla Hotel in Istanbul twice during our trip. The best part of the stay was definitely the owner and staff—they were extremely helpful and kind. We've travelled quite a bit, and this was probably the most helpful team we've come across. The hotel offers nice breakfast, and there’s a rooftop terrace available for guests with a sea view, which is a pleasant extra. I would recommend arranging airport transfer directly with the hotel, as it’s more reliable, comfortable and avoids the risk of being overcharged by airport taxis. The rooms were clean, with towels, slippers, and some basic toiletries provided. The area has a good number of restaurants, and the walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque takes about 20 minutes, including a few uphill sections. We were slightly unsure about the neighborhood at first, but everything turned out fine and the people we met were friendly and very helpful. I think that’s the best thing we will remember from our trip. If we come back to Istanbul, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Hospitality is very good The owner and staffs were kind and everytime we come from tours they offer free tea and coffee. Even our airport transfer were well managed by Mr. Yavuz I will come again because of their services.
