The front desk is first-class. We stayed for 11 days and by the end it felt like the front desk was like family. Very grateful.

We felt like we had walked into The Plaza Hotel!! The lobby was filled with the most gorgeous Christmas trees & decorations. Stunning! The staff were wonderful, very helpful & crested us every time we came & went. The gardens are incredible. We were fortunate to have some snow which made the open area magical. Room was lovely. I’m plenty of room for 4 of us. Easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes & the subway.

I stayed in the female dorm at Generator and was truly impressed! For this price in Washington, DC, it’s hands down the best option. The room was clean, safe, and well-equipped, and the common areas were very comfortable. Special thanks to the front desk staff, especially Baby and Ms. Tina, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and always cheerful. Their warm hospitality really made my stay memorable. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in DC!

Very good location. Very nice clean hotel with great staff.

Cozy little hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. A 10-15min walk brings you to several spots with lots of eateries and bars, as well as to the metro.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable! I loved all of the original fixtures from when the hotel was a church. We only stayed for one night, but we both wished we stayed longer!

Excellent location and great facilities!

The property is in an ideal location only a short 15 minute walk to the White House area. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the hotel. If we return to Washington DC we will definitely stay in the hotel again.
