Close to a lot of nice cafes and shops.
Close to a lot of nice cafes and shops. The staff in the subway are pretty touchy, and you have to get the clipper card to use public transport. The area going away from the wharf is quite seedy, like an open-air opium den with drug users injecting in public. Some of the cafes included taxes of ~$30USD, bringing out breakfast for 2 to $85. Better to ask ahead. Expensive place overall.

Union Square is right in the heart of San Francisco with lawns, steps and trees. A perfect square amongst expensive hotels and Macy's store. Nice to sit and eat lunch and watch the passing parade. Also the cable car goes up the side street of Union Square.

It feels very run down and really scruffy.
It feels very run down and really scruffy. It’s not the best part of the city and there are so many vagrants which can feel very intimidating when they shout at you, I know it’s not their fault but it does become scary especially at night time.

Location is good, although you have to walk a bit if you want to go to the touristic bit such as nob hill, union square or fisherman wharf.
We were on 21st floor and had a fabulous views!
Good value for money as everything is expensive in California , this hotel is very nice and the price as well!
Superb location in Union Square. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Free bikes for guests too was a bonus. Hotel was really clean as were rooms.
Flight got cancelled and staff were on hand to sort another night for us no fuss. 100% would stay again
Location of the hotel is super, walking distance to Union Square, safe.
The hotel is rich in French cultural, lovely decor. The coffee and breakfast was excellent. Definitely will recommend to friend.
The bar downstairs is amazing with a great local beer (stars) and great staff.
The room was spacious, clean and with enough amenities to keep your belongings tidy.
The location is close to Union square, handy to take the hop-on and off bus, and to park the city bike from Wheelbay / lyft.
The room price was very attractive, below $100/night
The hotel is close to few night clubs (Chotto Matte and Pura)
The hotel is close to China Town, Union Square and Moscone Center. All down town is at a walking distance. The room is lare and nice. Breakfast is included. Coffe 24/7.
The check in was very fast and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent walking distance to Union square, Macy’s and the cable car. We had a wonderful time. I Highly recommend this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a typical sleek hipster hotel - nothing more and nothing less. Price is OK, rooms are ok and the fact that there is a rooftop restaurant is also ok. It is close to the Union Square (if you actually want to go there) and there is a small Cafe next to the lobby. Rooms are clean, bathroom well equipped.
Nice location close to Powell Street cable car and just a 10 minute walk down to Union Square shopping area. Cable tram car to Fishermans Wharf. Recommend Foleys Irish House on O'Farrell Street for nice food and drinl. Nice cafe on the corner adjacent to hotel for breakfast (if not included)
Close to Union Square, and many tourist places are within the reach of walking distance. It can be easily accessed using BART. Take off on the Powell Street station from SFO. From there it is approx 700m to the hotel.
The hotel was beautiful - lots of original features that were well preserved. Really central location. Easy walking distance Union Square and to public transport.
