The hotel is located in the heart of the rejuvenated and modernized Zona Rosa and is truly an oasis amid the energy and bustle of Mexico City. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurant is excellent. If you want an authentic Mexican lodging experience in a safe and secure environment, I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Casa Gonzalez, one of my favorite hotels in the world.AnarchyTravelSolo traveller

It was clean, nicely appointed, comfortable, quiet and in a good location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great with lots of restaurants and public transportation nearby. The taxi driver who drove us from the airport told us it was a transient hotel and was not very nice. He was totally wrong, apparently expecting that two American tourists expect fancy lodging facilities!
