Hawun Valley Kiulu se află în Tamparuli, la 39 km de Piața filipineză Sabah, la 34 km de Likas City Mosque și la 39 km de Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

The owners do everything to make you feel at home, nothing is to much. The owner organized a snorkeling trip, he showed us the most beautiful spots. We saw turtles and the coral was so beautiful. The food was delicious, I recommend it to vegetarians.👌 The owners did so much for us, we just can not explain how much! We became totally zen and enjoyed being away from al the stress. Thank you for this amazing experience!!!

Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. This is not just a ‘business’, it is a passion! Jason and Gert are sharing a piece of the rainforest to help travelers experience wildlife, insects and plants in their natural habitat. Jason and Gert have created a safe and relaxing environment for all guests to experience true nature. The cabin has wood walls and floors - simple design and furnishings, and so comfortable. There are 2 chairs on the balcony, outside of each room, to enjoy the local flora and fauna. The daily schedule is designed for 2 nights, but we wanted some additional quiet time in the jungle so stayed for 4 nights. Jason made sure that we received different meals for lunch and dinner - he really works to make all meals special! The banana pancakes with homemade caramel sauce is phenomenal! The dining room (with ceiling fans) is also a place that you can hang out - have a coffee, read, play cards, visit and/or observe your surroundings. There is always a pitcher of cold and refreshing water waiting for you. There is a terrace off the dining room (no fans) with benches and small tables - great to look out over the landscape. We went on an amazing evening boat cruise every evening (included in the package). The optional sunrise river cruise starts at 5:30 am - beautiful and quiet (additional small fee). During our cruises, our guide/captain Rodel helped us find Pygmy elephants, crocodiles, hornbills, kingfishers, Silver Leaf monkeys, Proboscis monkeys and macaque monkeys. We absolutely loved our time on the Kinabatangan River! Jason, Gert and staff are so calm, friendly and informative. A once in a lifetime experience/place to enjoy nature and learn about/observe amazing Borneo animals in the wild!

Borneo Jungle Adventure se găsește în localitatea Kinabatangan din regiunea Sabah și are cazare cu WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. We had an amazing stay with Linda and the team. Eco run lodge is alongside the river (not reachable by car - they will pick you up with a boat), rooms were refurbished, big and clean. As they say: there is no jacuzzi but you will get all the comfort needed. Providing 3 meals a day, Malaysian food one of the best we have had during all our trip in Borneo, plenty to eat, water, coffee and tea available at all times, also things from the bar (soft drinks, beer - extra charge, normal prices). All activities on the river were done on the highest level, team is very knowledgeable about the nature and the animals in the area - we have spotted many of them and also got some insightful information from the team.

Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.
