Our host couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and based on past reviews we ate dinner both nights. Best dinner we have had on months. Surrounded by a lush garden, Mallin Colorado Ecolodge offers wooden cottages overlooking General Carrera Lake. Incredible location, nice (and warm) communal areas and fantstic food each night prepared by chef Venecia. Portions are huge so easy to share meals/starters/mains. On the property itself there’s an incredibly rewarding hike with some of the best views we had on our trip (but you need to walk all the way to the end!). Staff are delightful - a special mention for Belén who is the sweetest!

Patagonia is a luxurious mountain lodge set against the panoramic backdrop of the snow-capped Andes. It offers 4 exclusive suites with free Wi-Fi and balconies with views of Coyhaique Valley. It is one of the most relaxing, beautiful hotels I’ve been to. The scenery is breathtaking, the rooms gorgeous, the beds huge and super comfy (best nights sleep I’ve had in ages) and the food delicious. If you get the chance go here! You won’t regret it.

The owners were amazing hosts. I like their story. They just bought the property a year ago and are fixing it up...and doing an amazing job. Nice to see. The place was quiet and had a rustic charm to it. Breakfast was superb. Luis, the owner, was kind enough to make a special tea for our road trip as I wasn't feeling well. Great hospitality.
