Located 6.6 km from Tissa Wewa, Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. What a great place to stay if you’re planning a safari in Yala National Park. You can also book a safari through them. We had the pleasure of staying at their newest tent (they currently have 3 of them and some lodges). The tent is very large offers everything you need, there’s a fan, lots of wall sockets, two beds, water cooker and a bathroom attached. There’s no warm water, but you will need the cool shower :) the climate is always hot and humid. Sleeping in the tent at night with the blinds open was very comfortable. Also, there’s lots of peacocks around, it is a joy to watch them from the tent. They recently completed a new area for breakfast which looks fantastic and is very spacious. Everything around the place felt very high-class, which we did not expect, especially at this price point. The staff was extremely attentive and adjusted to your needs (e.g. breakfast time for safari). We felt like in a 5-star hotel :)

Situlpawwa is 15 km from the lodge, while Tissa Wewa is 19 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 35 km away. Wadula Safari was amazing. We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy darts on site, or cycling in the surroundings. We had an exceptional stay at Tranquil Wild. The room was spotlessly clean, and the furniture was tastefully decorated. We were given a free room upgrade. The property's beautiful lake in front added to its charm. The Western and Sri Lankan food we enjoyed during our stay was outstanding. The owner of the property is very kind and personally ensures that guests are comfortable. She helped us book a Yala safari with a professional naturalist. We will definitely return. This property is a gem, and with the first-class service of the staff, there's no need to look further. We highly recommend staying at this property if you plan to visit Block 5 in Yala, as it is closer to Block 5.

The lodge has everything you need. Definitely recommend this place!

Situated in Kirinda, close to Nidangala Beach, Garnet Yala Beach features accommodation with garden, bike hire, a private beach area, a terrace and a restaurant. Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing and cycling. The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.

With Kirinda Beach reachable in 2.9 km, Yala Green Eco Lodge features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. Very friendly hosts, we went to the morning safari and Sambadh (hope it’s the right spelling) cared for us all the time and even prepared lunch when we came back, food was really good.

The lodge offers a terrace. The room was very clean and big, with AC. Near to Yala national park. Very quiet at night, with a nice atmosphere and good options to have dinner by walk. The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay at Yala Village Eco Tree House. The family and Stuff are super lovely and caring. We had a campfire, played games and enjoyed the noices of the animals. The rooms are easy but clean & comfortablE. We also booked our Yala safari with them and were lucky to see elefants, leopard etc. All in all we highly recommand to stay at this place!
