Located amongst the rocky hills of Gondwana Nature Park, Gondwana Canyon Village offers accommodation within 55 km of Klein Karas. The setting is incredible and the rooms big, we had 2 rooms next to each other which meant we had our own little chalet and plenty of space for our family of 5 - the free sunset walk us amazing and then there is a little bar at the top of the hill so you can have a sundowner drink

The stunning location of individual chalets amongst the rocks in the desert, the friendly, attentive staff, the excellent buffet dinner, the pool on the edge of the desert with enough loungers for everyone, the bean bags under a large rock above the pool, the sunsets over the desert. What an amazing place!

With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available. This lodge is amazing and offers stunning views over the Fish River Canyon from each single room. It's quiet and if you like nature and stillness, this is the place for you! You can do rim walks on both sides that range from 45-75 minutes that I would recommend doing during sunrise and sunset time. The food is amazing as well, and there is a good vegetarian alternative, as well as a good wine card. When I found out that the wifi was much better in other rooms and told the staff that I need to work and have video calls, they gave me a new room after the first night. Amazing! The best part was that the staff really went the extra mile. On my first morning there, the staff had noticed that one of my tired was losing air. They then found out that a screw was inside of it which makes the air slowly go out. They then changed the wheel of my car, and they even took the broken wheel to seal the whole in the tire that I'd have a backup in case I got another flat on the way back. When I ask what all of this cost me, they said "we're here to help. If you want to give anything, it's up to you but not required". I was completely stunned and very grateful. And then I had the problem that I didn't have the right tool to loosen the screws on my wheel, so the manager lent one to me in case something else happens and then had a courier pick it up in Windhoek at a cafe I was working. I've never experienced this kind of service and am really grateful to the people at Fish River Lodge. I'll definitely come back!

Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a terrace overlooking the Gurib River bed. Unique design, the owners put effort and enthusiasm to it . Well done well worth. Very interesting to visit the lithoparium!

Sandfontein Lodge & Nature Reserve se află în Sandfontein și pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit, o piscină în aer liber, un lounge comun și un bar. Great stay in the middle of nowhere, with super friendly and knowledgeable managers. Great service as well, and really everything included. We enjoyed the flexibility on activities offered and loved the canoeing on the Orange River.

Kalahari Game Lodge is located on the C15, just 20km from the Mata Mata Border post between Namibia and South Africa. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and on site restaurant. the hotel is fantastic in a very remote location. very nice landscape, super food and a nice swimming pool. the staff and managers are also very friendly. We did the lion tracking with Nelson. Very nice experience. Thx to you Nelson we will be back

Offering an outdoor pool, en suite rooms and an outside terrace, the historical Seeheim Hotel is located in Seeheim, a 30-minute drive from Keetmanshoop. Beautiful place to stay couldn't recommend more! Incredible host, made us the most delicious dinner and breakfast. Really good place to stop over if travelling through the area

Felix Unite Provenance Camp situated in Noordoewer overlooks the great Orange River. It features a restaurant and WiFi is available in the business centre. Amazing bed (firm but cozy) and clean smelling sheets. Fan and air con work well. My room had a view of Orange River. Pool was amazing, views are amazing. It was expensive (for me- I upgraded from my camping trip) but we’ll worth it! Shower and hot water work well.
