The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

Had the best time! We came here to relax at the end of a Botswana, South Africa road trip. The lodge is beautiful and peacefully located. The view is amazing. The staff is just the best. We felt so “at home” here. It is not a big 5 game place, but they state what game they have on their website so we were fully aware of this. We enjoyed the game drive very much due to great explanations. If you are coming for a relaxing getaway in the bush, and not for a big 5 safari, this is the place!
We had an amazing luxurious 2-night stay. It was the best stay we have ever had at a game lodge. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and special. The service is excellent provided by staff who are wonderfully warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The game drives with Wiseman, our guide, delivered new and exciting experiences including the big five. Delicious food at every meal and gorgeous views from stunning private rooms deliver on a quality luxury experience. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
From the moment we got there we were treated like roalty al the way to the end. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Our game drive and bush picnic was exceptional. The food is amazing and the cocktails was the best. We will certainly visit Monate Game Lodge again in the future.

The location was good as it was almost central to a lot of lodges and entertainment. The response from property manager was very good.
Everything was absolutely amazing! From the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, to the delicious, high-end restaurant quality meals and beautiful, very design forward lodges. The safari outings were always full of surprises. It was made even better by our favourite expert - Ephram! Thank you 57 Waterberg for an unforgettable experience ♥️
The best value for money safari in South Africa, in our opinion. There are plusher lodges, and there are bigger reserves. But Honeyguide/Entabeni is a fantastic lodge in a private reserve, for a fraction of the cost of the alternatives. The rangers are brilliant. There was one issue with the room, solved easily and amicably. We've been multiple times, and would happily go again.
The stay at Mabula game Lodge was cancelled due to a over booking on their side, was transferred to a sister lodge Safari Plains, the stay was very enjoyable.
