It is a 5-minute walk from the Jiade Artistic Center and the National Art Museum of China. The hotel is conveniently located, right beside a subway station (National Museum) on Line 8. It is also on the Wang fu jing street so you can walk to the main Wang fu jing area. We enjoyed walking on the street a lot, it has many cultural buildings and even a Catholic Church (1 out of 4 in Beijing). The hotel lobby smells really welcoming (sadly they don't sell the diffuser). They have an indoor pool and gym. The rooms have recently been renovated and it is tastefully furnished. I love the layout of the room and the furnishing. I took a few pictures in the room and my friends have commented that the room looks expensive. The service provided is also great. Anytime we needed anything, they were quick to deliver. We stayed here for 11 nights and had a wonderful stay overall!

The best thing, apart from the really interesting location, room comfort and the food was the front desk ladies - they made our holiday truly a Chinese experience - they were great ambassadors for their country - helped with bookings, transport and had great advice to make the most of the attractions. Every recommendation made by them was gold - from choice of restaurants, bars and sights - and came with good instructions in English on how to get there.

The location was good for easy street walks and in a walking distance to Houhai. If you don’t mind a little walk and plan to take the train around it’s a really nice hotel. However if you plan to take taxi it can be a little tricky to come back to the hotel as the road to the hotel is small, many driver may find it’s hard to get in. However there will be no problem leaving the hotel by taxi as the hotel staffs will help you book one. They provide free laundry.
