And the hotel is in a quiet surroundings we could hear birds out of the window.

This was my second stay. The hotel is luxurious. Personal attention from staff. The location is great for business in the High tech zone, with easy access from the international airport - seven stops on the metro. Am planning to return in October and will always stay at the Fairmont when on business in Chengdu.
The staff are all nice and helpful, but putting hard and software together -- even their good service does not bring the standard up to 5 star. The hotel needs to quickly upgrade its hardware, for Chengdu standards it's not very competitive.
The property is modern, clean, upscale and well located. The staff are nice and attentive. The beds with a “pillow menu” are beyond comfortable. The view from the room over the temple area, the shopping centers and the eastern part of Chengdu is great. The food and breakfast in their main restaurant is of very good quality. At times, there is quite a while to wait for a la carte food both at dinner and breakfast, but perhaps for the quality and nature of the preparation.

We booked two rooms for a family stay and were given a free upgrade to suites, we were very happy about it! Definitely 5 star standard! Service was excellent, and I'd like to specially thank Christina for her kind service! The bed was very comfortable too. The location was unbeatable - the famous local food was just downstairs 2 min away. Our family totally enjoyed the stay and will come back again next time we are in Chengdu!
Everything was superb. The room was nice and equipped with smart toilet (I even feel this could be a bad point because I'm not sure whether I'm not smart enough or it's too smart😅). The sound proofing was quite good as well. Breakfast was sumptuous, albeit as oily as all the food in this region). They even have made to order handcrafted coffee in their breakfast buffet.

A wonderful hotel in a great location for People’s Park. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious! The staff were friendly and very helpful - superb English! It was great to have the use of a free laundry and there was a good choice of food at breakfast. Overall, a great hotel!!
An upscale hotel in a prime location. Grandiose view. Lots of gastronomy nearby. Subway in front. Superb view. Friendly staff. Can't think of much to improve.
Check in process was fast and smooth. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating. I booked the one-bedroom deluxe and it was huge! The location is superb, about 2km to Chunxi. Table was big enough to consume food for 2. Room has almost everything you need including a kitchenette and a washing machine. Big living room.
