Caravan hotel absolutely knocked it out of the park for us as the last stretch in our Cambodia trip after a couple of weeks backpacking: the beds are so comfortable, the showers are the best we’ve had in Cambodia, the breakfast buffet is a feast, and their rooftop pool is such a nice place to lounge. Special mention to the kindness of the staff, with a special +++ mention for the team of the Skybar. I felt so relaxed I extended my stay. Thank you so much!

Quiet and peaceful hotel in an excellent location (close by palace, riverfront, independence square, with a little paradise of a garden. The staff was all super friendly and helpful, throughout our 6-day stay. Room was clean, and nicely designed. Access to a second (rooftop) pool of the sister hotel (Penh house) a few doors down is a big plus.

Yes, the hotel is very suitable for families with children. There is a playground for children and children's swimming pools, we had a washing machine in the room, which was very useful. Set in a restored French colonial villa adjacent to the Royal Palace, Palace Gate Hotel & Resort offers accommodations in Phnom Penh with views of the Tonle Sap River. What a beautiful oasis in the heart of Phnom Penh! Perfectly central and walkable to most attractions, yet spacious, cool and like stepping into another world. We had a lovely dinner at their Mealea restaurant which was reasonably priced, the breakfast buffet was outstanding with a great variety of eastern and western foods, and delicious coffees. The pool is an absolute dream and so welcome after a long hot day exploring the city.

This hotel is amazing. The staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. Everything smells like lemongrass. The shower was phenomenal! The restaurant has a gorgeous view and the food is very good. Excellent buffet for breakfast, with a la carte add on option.

The Scenic Hotel Phnom Penh is a brand-new property located right next to the Phnom Penh Night Market, which means cheap and convenient food options are available around the clock. It’s also about a 10-minute walk from the riverside, which is lively and full of activity in the evenings. One thing to note, however, is that local vendors sell—and slaughter—fish on the sidewalk right next to the hotel in the evening, so guests will have to walk past this area to enter the property. As a new hotel, the rooms feature a clean, modern aesthetic, and everything was spotless during my stay—from the bed and linens to the towels and bathroom. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a pleasant view of Phnom Penh. Given the price, I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the room; it could easily pass for a 4- or even 5-star hotel. I also appreciated the water dispenser in the hotel lobby, which helps reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles.
