The buffet-style breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, and the staff was incredible in explaining the public transportation to me, how to operate the elevator, and recommending their rooftop restaurant or an Italian restaurant nearby. The room was spotless, decently sized, and very comfortable.

Truely an experience, with everything you could ever need on site -- incredible rooftop pool and sauna, multiple restaurants on-site, a cafe in the lobby for a coffee or sweet fix, whenever you need. I cannot wait to return to Oslo, simply to stay at Sommerro. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a weekend at this art deco paradise!

Big and spacious. Good enough for 8 of us. Very near to groceries store and tram station is just few steps away. Do note that the house is on the third floor but it’s not that hard. Feels like 2 flights of stairs only. There is washer dryer, hair dryer, iron, vacuum, tv and lots of pillows. The host is very responsive and helpful.

The room was very stylishly decorated with all necessary amenities. The host, Ms Natalia furnished her room with very details what her client needs. Thanks to her hospitality.

Just want to say wow. This place is amazing. The location. The view. The property. The customer service. If you want luxury you ain't getting better than here. Wish I could have stayed longer. The owner was amazing and so accommodating, texting felt comfortable with fast responses. Definitely will be back😀

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Eight Roof Top Bar is open Wednesday - Saturday from 17:00 to 00:00. Every staff were very helpful and did their best to accommodate all our request.

Lysebu Hotel is located at Tryvannshøyden Hill above Oslo, 750 metres from the Voksenkollen metro station. Their nice hospitality and their kind upgrade they did on their own, I loved the nice view of the woods.
