That was kind of the hotel. Although the room was clean, It's a good time they started upgrading the room.

Very warm welcome by Miguel who took care of everything, earlier and quick check in which was appreciated after a long flight. The room is very comfortable & cosy with the typical St Regis high service quality. Loved the patisserie in the lobby they had such delicious canelle, amazing breakfast.

Hotel is in a quiet area of Shanghai about 45 minutes by metro to Xintiandi and Hongqiao Airport. The price is very affordable and if you do not mind the long metro rides then staying here is an option. The shower area is very big and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is also part of the Marriott chain for points. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and polite. Location-wise it is near a mall with restaurants, services and supermarkets close by.
Room was excellent and location great to Bund, Old City etc... Pudong a Hop, skip and a jump. Breakfast, great and should be added when you book at Westin Bund Centre
From the moment you walk in, it’s hard not to be captivated by the beauty of the edition. The lobby is stunning and the Shanghai Tavern where breakfast is served is beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi are also really lovely. Great views from the cocktail bar are also a bonus. Our room was spacious and we had a bed each; le labo toiletries is a nice touch.
Beautiful property in an excellent location just minutes away from The Bund. Everything about The Shanghai EDITION was impeccable — service was great start to finish, with the manager being on the ground, to attentive staff all round; decor was also tasteful and amenities aplenty. I am already planning my next visit!
JW Marriott always meets your expectation. I was visiting the hotel during the Valentines Day and made a special request to decorate the room. They made it very special for my wife. Had Balloons, Towel Swan, Rose and Rose Petals. The hotel also has robots to deliver water bottles and anything you might need. So I would say, just pick up the phone and order few water bottles, a cool thing to experience. The rooms were also spacious and everything in the room was modern and on point. Good view of the river also.
My recent stay at the Westin Hotel in Shanghai had some positive aspects. The hotel's overall ambiance was acceptable, providing a generally okay experience. The location was convenient and accessible to key attractions, making it suitable for travellers seeking a central base for exploring the city.
Location was good, once you are at the lobby, turn left cross the road and cut across the Marriott hotel lobby to get to the other side of the road and from there, you'll reach New World Shopping Mall which is very close to the Nanjing walking street. The People's Square MRT station is also right behind the New World Shopping Mall (Go to the basement & follow the signs). Food, Convenience Stores all nearby... Room size is decent with a small kitchenette, basic utensils. Living room has a sofa which can be turned into a sofa bed
