The best in Hakuba! Stayed in a few hotels previously, bergtour is the best. Onsen with snow mountain view Hôtel shuttle to gondola and sakka ski resort Dinner Hotel staff! The skinny driver and front desk ladies! They even took me to an acupuncture clinic without charging me ☺️ Hôtel old lady 👵 is very lovely, can’t thank her enough.

Everything. Ambience grand yet intimate; room very clean, large and comfortable; Onsen facilities were excellent; breakfast provided an extensive range of fine choices; dinners were superb, beautifully presented degustations; staff most welcoming and helpful; shuttle to and from rail station very useful. Altogether, significantly contributed to an absolutely delightful stay in the beautiful and interesting township of Matsumoto.

The staff are great. I had stayed here more than a year ago, and upon arrival, they remembered and greeted me warmly. The rooms are very clean, the linen felt fresh. Wifi was great - managed to conduct several zoom meetings with no problems. Having washing machines and dryers is a big plus for travelers doing longer journeys (very few hotels have this facility).

Each staff member was professional, welcoming and friendly. I appreciate that English is rarely spoken, it’s more authentic and encourages us to contribute more. We felt like we were most welcome every day and would return again without hesitation.
