Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room has window screens and regular pest control so no bugs or insects. Host is super friendly. The property is around 800 metres from Paihia Harbour, 3.3 km from Waitangi Treaty Grounds and 7.3 km from Haruru Falls. An older property but looked after very well. Trevor welcomed us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know and answered any questions we had. We spent two nights and wished we had more time.Paihia is a quaint and beautiful little town in the Bay of Islands. The motel was within very easy walking distance of the town with several resort choose from. The included breakfast was phenomenal and served right to our door right at the chosen time. We highly recommend Paihia Star Motel for value and a wonderful stay. It was well appointed, clean and friendly and the beds most comfortable! Thank you Trevor!!!
