Perfect for a few days, all the necessities were provided and little things such as cookies, coffee and tea, plenty of towels... Proximity to the beach is great!

A flat-screen TV with cable channels and an iPod docking station is provided. The room is well maintained and fully equipped for long stay. The owner was very helpful and generous with our case that accidentally forgot the purse in the room after check out at 4am.

Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Our comfortable room had a couch and chair as well as a balcony.

Wake up to stunning views of the Kaikoura Mountains and the sea at Panorama Motel. Our units are all ensuite and smoke-free. Every unit opens out onto either a patio area with outdoor seating or onto its own private balcony, to allow our guests to enjoy the panoramic views. We had a huge delay and arrived late. Annie at the reception left for us the unit open and prepared, and explained by mail very clearly how to find it, where to park etc. Parking was just in front of the door. The room had big windows with great views of the sea, and there was a sitting area outside, although it was too cold and windy to use it.

Arthur's Pass Alpine Motel is located high in New Zealand’s Southern Alps, within Arthur’s Pass Village. Just 300 metres from Arthur’s Pass train Station, it offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. The cabin was so cosy with the log burner. We loved the ability to rent dvds and get board games to play with the kids. The short walks around the village were great with stunning views. Friendly, approachable hosts who were knowledgeable about the area.

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. The location is spectacular and the room was lovely, clean and modern. Highlight of our tour of NewZealand so far.

Middle Park Motel is within a 4-minute drive of Blenheim’s town centre and Blenheim Train Station. It features an outdoor pool, barbecue facilities and free parking. All units feature either a kitchen or kitchenette and a private patio. Guests enjoy free WiFi. We were met by a very nice woman who eaily checked us in. The unit is bright thanks to the lage windows. The kitchen is well set up and appointed. The living space well designed. Beds very comforable. Bathrooms more than adequate even had a jetted tub! The unit had a patio with bbq!!! We were across the street from a grocery store and pub!

The staff at the reception are friendly and even helped us on the laundry. Overall it was a very good experience. Will definitely recommend this accommodation.
