The unit (#19) was so cute and was just as pictured online. The windows were able to be open and the door had a screen door so we could leave the hard door open to enjoy the mountain air. It was the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Our unit was right by the creek and we were able to sleep with the windows open and listen to the water, it was amazing. The staff was very friendly.

Rivers Edge Motel is located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, 2.7 km from Harrah's Casino. All rooms feature panoramic views of the Oconaluftee River. Balcony on the river is paradise, even in December. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.

This is such a cute, well kept hotel. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening and visiting with other guest. Great location for us. We were getting on the Blue Ridge parkway the next day. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to NC.
