Beatty
Located in Beatty, Nevada, 13 km from the entrance to Death Valley National Park, this motel offers an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a furnished terrace with BBQ facilities and shaded seating. Featuring modern furnishings, all of the non-smoking guest rooms include free WiFi. Having stayed in multiple similar establishments in California on our trip, this was the best value for money by far; Extra large, comfortable, spotless rooms with a nice bathroom, fridge and television. Excellent, friendly staff who are open to chatting about the surroundings of Beatty, whether it be life in the desert, Death Valley NP, or the wild donkeys that roam about the streets. We had the (cold) breakfast included, which was substantial enough and made for a great start to our day; tea/coffee, bear claws and similar pastries, hard-boiled eggs, fruit-flavoured yoghurts, orange juice, granola bars, etc. - perfect. We stayed here after comparing it with far more expensive accommodation options in or near Death Valley NP on the Californian side, and remain delighted with our choice. Death Valley Inn & RV Park is under an hour's drive from Furnace Creek Visitors' Centre, the perfect starting point for a trip to Death Valley NP - it is the perfect stop on the way to/from this National Park or to/from California/Nevada.

I very like small town small motels. This motel was in very good location with very good view and comfort to park car just to door.
And staff was patiently waiting my late arrival and really happy to complete this task.
After this we make small walk around the town and find nice shopping, bars and restaurants. And of course epic gas station.

This motel has charm and is typical. Very quiet. Excellent price and close to death valley. The person that welcomed us was nice.
Very old and not really well maintained motel in the middle of nowhere but this gives some strange charm to this place. It was a bit frightening at arrivel but we enjoyed our one night in the end.
Stayed here in route from Las Vegas to Mammoth Lakes. Set up late night arrival, staff very helpful on the phone. Motel right out of the '50s ('40s?), except for mini-split and mini-fridge. Room temp good. Beds comfortable. Shower worked fine, real bar soap was provided. Nice to have the fridge. Quiet at night. Can't beat the price.
We did appreciate the 2 Queen bed room with big and clean bathroom, A/C, fridge, coffee machine and MW. Free parking. Free ice provided. Also a laundry room was available (2$ for washing + 2$ for drying). Good WiFi signal. Very friendly and helpful staff
Great locations. A true oasis in the heart of Death Valley. Immaculate, lush grounds, clean spring fed outdoor swimming pool, buffet lunch with a very good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Easy free parking They even have a proper golf course on site! If you are staying in Death Valley and you manage to find an available room then you shouldn't hesitate to book it.The hotel is delightful.
Friendly and competent staff, simple but delicious breakfast, cleanness, problemfree wifi, large, free parking, fridge and micro in the room, air conditioning, close to Death Valley NP.
For a desert motel in a desert town, it was good. Air conditioning worked quietly and did not blow on bed. Bed VERY comfortable (best sleep so far). Very clean. Breakfast basic but had the essentials. Staff was VERYhelpful.
Very good location.Older, clean, well maintained motel. Would stay again. Very pleasant office clerk
Perfectly located in Beatty. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are fully refurbished, clean and comfortable. A great motel
This is a basic motel but it completely met our needs during our time there. The employees were truly helpful and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. The room was clean. The location is close to some good restaurants and is an excellent jumping off point for exploring Death Valley and nearby sites. Watch for burros on the road as you leave town!
