Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. It is a Japanese style inn with retro vibes. Their private onsen's water comes from the very hot spring source of Kusatsu and therefore you can experience the hot spring water without going to the public baths if you are shy. We mostly used them at night when the town's baths are closed since the inn's are 24/7 open. I would recommend to book a japanese style room as it has it's tatami and according decoration and together with the inn's yukata (there is an opt for a colorful one and geta to rent) it gives a more japanese experience. We liked that the inn had slippers for going outside which was convenient as the whole town is full with onsens (even ones that are only for feet) and therefore is more convenient to move in slippers. They have a game area with a lot of retro game (even arcade games) and Nintendo SFC System Video Game Console in the rooms. It may not be in the centre of the town (around 10 min walk for either yubatake or Sainokawara Park and open onsen) but is very close to it and also they offer pick up/drop off from the bus terminal. Staff were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. In our next visit to Kusatsu we are definitely staying there!

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. מלון מקסים ואירוח נהדר. אהבנו הכל - החדר, הארוחות וכמובן את האונסן בטבע. היינו בפברואר וחששנו שיהיה קר מדי להיכנס, אבל לשמחתנו המים היו מספיק חמים, והחוויה של רחצה באונסן כשיורד עלינו שלג היתה מדהימה. הארוחות יכולות להיות קצת קשוחות למי שלא מורגל, אבל אם יש בקשות מיוחדות ניתן להודיע לצוות יום לפני ההגעה והם מנסים להתאים את עצמם. ממליצים בחום!

מקום האירוח BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn נמצא במרחק של 47 ק''מ מפארק הקופים ג'יגוקודאני ו-15 ק''מ מMt. Kusatsu Shirane ומציע חדרים בקוסאטסו. The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

Hotel staff is friendly and really made us feel at home with their personalised service. We love the Kaiseki dinner, their sets breakfast, and their rooms are equipped with private onsen and it is Modernised and exceptionally clean. Their public onsen is spacious, clean and fully equipped.

מקום האירוח Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) ממוקם בקוסאטסו, במרחק של 45 ק''מ מפארק הקופים ג'יגוקודאני ו-14 ק''מ מMt. Excellent location, close to the center and all major onsen. The view from our room was fantastic, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. I strongly recommend reaching out to the property and booking a dinner reservation. Dinner was absolutely incredible, some of the best Japanese food we've had. The lady who welcomed us was very polite and friendly, and she could speak very good English. The baths were also great with two different hot water sources and a sauna.

This Ryokan is phenomenal. - Breakfast and dinner, exceptional. Probably the greatest thing we like about the Ryokan. - The room, it was amazing, clean and tidy - We only used the private onsen (which is first come first serve basis, no booking required), temperature is just right with great view once you opened the window.

The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Absolutely beautiful location. Just a great atmosphere and the hot spring was fantastic.

The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.

Beautiful building in gorgeous surroundings. Fabulous baths and all in all a serene experience, especially during the week when there are less people. Luxurious enough but not over the top.
