The Happo Kan is a 5-minute drive from Hakuba Iwatake Ski Area, and a 10-minute drive from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort. It’s a 5-minute drive from the La Foret Hakuba Art Museum, as well as from Hakuba Train Station. The Hakuba Happo Onsen hot springs are a 10-minute drive. The breakfast is a little bit exotic for occidentals but is definitely a good and new experience. The view from the breakfast is incredible. I enjoy the foot massage machines in the lobby.

Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the guest rooms and lobby area. The place is amazing and the location is very convenient, nearby to bus station and nearby to the ski lift. Mr Katsumi Maruyama is very helpful and very accommodating, thank you very much.
