Staying at Morizuya was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. This cozy, family-run ryokan radiates warmth and hospitality. Manager Hachisuka and his family do everything they can to make you feel at home, and our stay truly exceeded expectations. The ryokan is charming and traditional. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable tatami room with beautiful décor and a view of a peaceful garden. The room included a private toilet and sink, while bathing is done in their private onsen (yes, private — no need to bathe with others if that makes you uncomfortable). Morizuya provides yukata for men and women, sandals, bags, towels, and an onsen pass for the town’s seven public baths. Women can also choose a kimono for going out around town and shopping, while men can (and should!) relax in their yukata for this same purpose. I especially want to highlight how Manager Hachisuka truly went above and beyond. He’s not only an excellent photographer — taking beautiful photos of my fiancée and me among the cherry blossoms and guiding us to great photo spots — but also incredibly kind and attentive. He personally helped us with our schedule and drove us to the station early in the morning to ensure we caught our train on time. That level of care is something we’ll never forget. If you’re unsure where to stay, I strongly recommend Morizuya. We left with beautiful and unforgettable memories of this warm and authentic experience in Kinosaki. A few quick tips about the bath: There are two onsen inside the inn. From 7 AM to 3 PM, they’re public (men/women separated). From 3 PM to 11 PM they become private — no reservation needed. If the door’s unlocked, it’s available. Go in, lock the door behind you and enjoy. You’re welcome to bathe with your family or partner. Be sure to shower and clean yourself before entering the bath. Walking around town in your yukata(or kimono) is part of the charm, so don’t be shy — it’s all part of the experience.

Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. Amazing place and unforgettable memories of staying here! Everything starting from a warm welcoming with green tea served, yukata given, kaiseki dinner was perfect! Wonderful room in Japanese traditional style with incredible garden view and a balcony with a massage chair, relaxing hot springs - all of this we will keep as the greatest memory from the ryokan! We had a wonderful stay at this charming traditional ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen. From the very beginning, Reiko, our host, was absolutely amazing. She warmly welcomed us, allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in, and took the time to explain everything about Kinosaki Onsen in great detail. She shared helpful tips, local insights, and even helped us plan how to make the most of our day and how to wear the Yukata. Throughout our stay, Reiko made sure we felt comfortable and truly valued. She even made restaurant reservations for us and surprised us with a delicious Japanese cookie. Such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel very appreciated. The ryokan itself is a beautiful, close to to two ( and also our favorite onsen). It’s a traditional old house full of charm and warmth, exactly what you hope for when visiting Kinosaki Onsen. It had everything we needed and more. We felt at home from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We can only recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic, relaxing, and heartwarming ryokan experience.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The room size was perfect for three people, and everything was very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and they helped us with everything we needed. Our room also included an onsen pass, which was a great bonus. The location was also very convenient.

The service was exceptional, the attention to detail the staff is unlike anything I have experienced before. I really recommend this Ryokan to anyone visiting Kinosakionsen. Enjoy!

Boasting an open-air hot springs bath and spacious garden, Arima Grand Hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from Arima Onsen Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. The facilities are very perfect. Ie. shuttle bus from/to hotel to train station and ropeway, varieties of gold and silver onsens in one place are stunning we didn’t have to go other onsens to try both of them. Dinner and breakfast are excellence. Staffs at front and dining room are very professional and great service mind.
