Both dinner and breakfast were very tastefully presented and the variety was generous including local produce. The yukatas came in different colors and patterns, one could pick without having to pay extra,where other places would have charge 500yen. There were welcome drinks and snacks. Popsicles after onsen. Onsen had indoor , outdoor, hot, cold, lying, sitting, plus sauna. Massage chairs were also free for enjoyment. The location could not be better if you want to walk up to the Kotohiragu. There were lots of shops and eateries along the route.

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great rooms in a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast superb. Staff lovely. Wine was a very reasonable cost

Kotohira Kadan ligger en 15-minutters spasertur fra JR Kotohira stasjon og har naturlige termalbad og store rom i japansk stil. Noen av rommene har eget utendørs termalbad. Hotel and room environments are wonderful. Services are warm and comfortable. Definitely recommend for a stay in Kotohira.

Featuring an outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths on the top floor, Bay Resort Hotel Shodoshima is located in Shodoshima Island. All guestrooms offer great ocean views. What impressed me most was the assistance of the service staff I happened to meet a young girl from Taiwan who helped us with the language barrier and was very patient in helping us translate and solve the problem! There was also a young Japanese boy who helped us with the hot spring temperature and finally helped us carry our luggage to the shuttle bus. I was very impressed by his perfect service.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. Hotel staffs are all friendly and helpful, the Onsen experience at the hotel, the city was nice and peaceful.
