Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. The service is awesome! All the staff, from the reception to the dining room, are extremely helpful and friendly. The room is spacious for even five people. Their onsens are well maintained and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast Kaiseki are beyond my expectations.

The meals were delicious and the service was impeccable. The accommodation is very beautiful and tranquil. The room itself came with a massage chair and private onsen. Amenities were sufficient.

Everything was nice cozy and very clean. The staff was welcoming and nice, the futon bed was comfortable, the onsen was nice and relaxing for the evening. Also they provide really good green tea in a room and a complimentary freshly brewed coffee in the morning which is a nice touch.☕ Thanks for the hospitality!

The room was a great size. The person working there was extremely helpful, she ordered us a cab, and told us a lot of information about things close by as well as the room. Had a wonderful time using the two lovely private onsens in the room. Will definitely stay again

Amazing property and terrific value for money. The room we stayed was seperate from the main building (a 2’ walk away) had an onsen bath + outdoor onsen areas and was simply stunning. Such a luxurious feel! You’re own private spa. Good location as well - walkable distance from the sights. (Hells of Beppu etc..) Would highly recommend.

No breakfast provided but the villa offers a lot of cooking equipment. Self check in and it's very quickly and simple. The equipment and washing machine are very clean and well. It's very spacious！ The view of the terrace is refreshed and relaxed. The onsen is awesome！ The bath is big enough for 3 kids to stay in. Everything is fine to our family and we all enjoyed the stay in Terra villa.
