Fantastic, authentic Daintree coast experience. They sit across from the spectacular Thornton Beach, the junction between the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The apartment is a two minute walk to 4 mile beach. It is located on the Main Street of Port Douglas but is very quiet. The apartment is large with a separate bedroom. The living room has a couch plus a dining table with chairs. The kitchen had everything I needed. There was a bbq area downstairs that I used a couple of times to grill steaks from Malones Butcher Shop. There is a free laundry room with three washers and dryers. The pool was refreshing on the muggy days. I booked two tours through the apartment and I was happy with both. My airport shuttle pick up was scheduled for noon. Normally, check out time is 10 am but they let me stay in the apartment until the shuttle arrived at noon. Sonia and Robin were great hosts.

The food was amazing - great cooking with vegan and meat options, excellent breakfasts. I also need to highlight very friendly and helpful staff. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and the room was big and spacious.

The condo had everything you needed. Managers were helpful with recommending places to visit while we were in the Port Douglas area. They provided chairs for the beach and beach towels. Short walk to the beach.
