From the very beginning, the host set the tone for our stay with warmth, kindness, and genuine care -a welcome contrast after the stressful experience we’d had at another property. What followed was nothing short of restorative. The house itself feels like a hidden retreat: peaceful, serene, and full of charm, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Our room was a delight - beautifully presented, comfortable, and enhanced by thoughtful touches such as a mini fridge stocked with reasonably priced snacks and beverages. The bathroom was equally impressive, with ambient lighting that created a calming glow, and elegant his-and-hers sinks and mirrors that gave it a touch of quiet luxury. Breakfast is something not to be missed. I won’t give away the details, but it was easily one of the highlights of our stay - well worth treating yourself at least once.

The best place to stay in Diest and a fantastic place to stay in Flemish Brabant in general. High standards, from the room to breakfast, and great hospitality by the hosts that make you feel right at home. Rooms: spacious room, very tastefully done with a large, confy bed and confy bedding, very high standard bathroom with a mirror all the way up to the ceiling, air-con, blinds on all windows including the skylight, built-in wardrobe with enough hangers and a (very stylish) separate bathroom. The TV can be moved around in the room freely. Hotel facilities: both rooms are adjacent to a veranda and the garden, both very cozy and inviting. Ideal to work there (solid WiFi and plugs nearby), also due to the adjacent kitchen with free coffee and tea. Every room also comes with a fridge in the kitchen where you can buy drinks for cheap (minibar equivalent). Location: very central in Diest, everything nearby from shopping, supermarket to various parks. Swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts also nearby. Everything is walkable. Multiple good restaurants are also within walking distance. Parking is also not a problem. Breakfast: a very special breakfast made with great attention to detail and served at the table every day. Nothing to be desired, from fresh smoothies and orange juice to good coffee, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, changing joghurts, a large variety of breads and baked goods. They also served fresh egg dishes/breakfast eggs according to your preference (every day). It doesn't get better than that! The best part: the increadibly hospitable hosts, Annick and Jeroen! I recently stayed here for two nights. Large modern bedroom and large modern on-suite bathroom. Free wifi and parking. Nice quite location. Delicious breakfast at a time to suit. Great service by the owner Cynthia. I can highly recommend this B&B and will stay there again.

Looks good, our toddler was enchanted as it has a "castle" vibe. Good breakfast, good space to park the car. Also I must thank the host for the attention to children, immediately came with pencils our kid during breakfast and they allowed us to visit the stable behind and offered us the story of the place. They have a small place with 2 chickens. The docor both outside and inside looks good.
