This place is absolutely amazing-a lovely house set in a vineyard, with all the modern conveniences, comfortable beds, lovely hot showers and my favourite part, a huge fireplace that the very attentive host keeps well stocked with firewood. The view of the vineyard and mountains from the living areas of the house is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, bread bought that morning at the local bakery and eggs fresh from the chicken coop right on the premises. Along with the country breakfasts, our host and his family treated us to some wonderful food including a homemade chicken soup made from a special family recipe and a special dinner with grilled fish and potatoes. Each meal was accompanied by fresh local vegetables and salads. Our host took us on several tours along the local wine route notably Viña Casa Silva, Santa Cruz, Cincha y Toro, Requehua and Morande. The beauty of each vineyard was best appreciated while enjoying a glass of one of their excellent wines! The peaceful rural setting of this listing was very appreciated by us, especially since our helpful host was happy to take us to the local shops when we needed something. Our host and his family did so much to make us feel a part of their family that our stay here was a delightful and unique experience that I would highly recommend.

Felt like a cast member of Downton Abbey and was lord of the village. Unique, true to the bone old world Hacienda. The staff was fantastic in every way, and the chef was the best!
