Okay, the view from upstairs is the Neuschwanstein Castle. The views from just about anywhere are of amazing mountains. When we were there, it snowed - and words cannot describe just how beautiful it was. The house is amazing. Three levels - absolutely beautiful home. It's about a half mile from a grocery store. It was just an incredible experience.

Beautiful, well-kept, quiet apartment in Waltenhofen. Very clean and organized. 2 chairs, a table and an umbrella on the balcony. Lovely mountain views. You cannot see the castle from the balcony but you will see it whenever you are out. 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike to a large grocery store and several restaurants, beer gardens, and a brewery that serves great food. Petrol station is beside the grocery store. Comfortable beds. Very quiet at night. Wifi works well. Lots of comfortable seating in living room and dining room. Well equipped kitchen. Kettle, toaster, coffee machine. You are required to wash and put away dishes before leaving but there is a DISHWASHER so it's no bother. Salt, pepper, and sugar available. No towels with no option for them, you must bring your own. About 1 hour 15 minutes on foot to Neuschwanstein Castle - not including climbing mountain to Castle or 25 minutes by bike. A bus loops around and depending on time of day takes 20-50 minutes to get to castle. Add about 30 minutes to each estimation to get to Füssen. Bus stops running around 6pm and starts around 9am. The train station in Füssen had a GREAT ebike rental location. Very easy to take the bus to the apartment from the train station. Bus stop closest is King Ludwig Hotel - about a block away in Canadian speak. Only a few minute walk. They provide an underground parking spot - we kept our rental bikes down there. A very neat and comfortable place. The management is helpful and guide you in detail about the neighbourhood. Location is great, since it's just few minutes drive to the Schloss Neuschwanstein.

The apartment is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the bedroom is especially spacious for 2 people. The apartment is decorated in a country style which match well with the surrounding environment. The view from the balcony is mind healing. A large pasture is right in front of the apartment with an endless mountain range as its background, which creates a beautiful picture of countryside. Also, don’t miss the Forggensee which is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment. We had a walk or picnic by the lake everyday we stayed in Schwangau. Forggensee is really a hidden gem! Lastly, we have to thank Sabestian again for his helpfulness. We are so lucky to have Sabestian as we our host. He is very patient in answering all our questions prior to or during our stay in Schwangau. He made recommendation for places to visit. He also helped us book a taxi to the train station as we had to get a train in the early morning. Thank you so much, Sabestian!

Large living room and well provisioned kitchen and dining areas, with north and west facing balconies and great views. Two full bathrooms. Master bathroom is spacious and has a clothes washer, tub, and shower. Good layout for families with children. Convenient underground parking with elevator to the apartment. Good neighborhood and close to all sites.
