Self check-in was easy and convenient. Communication was excellent too, with quick and clear replies to every request, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The check-in was smooth, the apartment was impeccably clean and appears to have been recently renovated. I stayed in February and it was warm and comfortable inside. There was instant coffee, tea, and even some candies available, which was a nice touch after travelling.

We loved the apartment. It is very comfortable on one hand and unusual on the other hand. It is very stylish and has anything one might need. Not far from the center of Essen. The building itself is quite historical and reminds the WWII times when it was a bunker. That is quite unusual in our times. The owner is very helpful and nice. We never saw him but felt his presence. He's always on the phone and speaks not only German but also English. Hope to come to this place again.
