Booked very last minute but the host was so helpful and accommodating. it's located in a nice neighborhood and the building is very modern with secure parking for our motorcycle. This is behind a high gate and electric fence. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The shower is lovely and hot and high pressure, one of the best we've had in Ecuador. It was only an overnight stop for us but it was very restful. Only feedback would be the checkout time is early at 10am. Most our at least 11am. Also it's needs some thicker curtains in the bedrooms as the street lights remain on all night.

Look no further, you have found your place! As soon as we set one foot in this place, we loved it. It is a traditional old town home that has been completely renovated with wonderful taste that include a garden and pretty plants, stone, tile and adobe work. The rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable, the place is beautiful and the owner, Franco, is a wonderful Italian guy with the best Capuchinos in town. Some of the rooms have extra high ceilings which gives the place an extra charm, all rooms have a small kitchen with a mini fridge and basic kitchen implements (which is what you will use this kitchen for cause you have a lot of delicious food to try in Cuenca). The place is close to everything you will want to visit in old town, all a 5-10min walk. There is parking available right next door for an additional charge for either day and/or over- night parking. Breakfast we had an assortment of fruit, bread, jelly, butter, juice and coffee with a surprise dish that changed every day. Internet is great, we took a few video calls with no problem. It’s just a wonderful place that you won’t regret going to. When we head back to Cuenca this will be the place we stay in, not to mention the price feels cheap for what you get!

My friend was sick and we had an overnight bus to catch. The one room wasn't booked, so they let her sleep in the room till we had to catch our bus, at no extra charge. We really appreciated this. Location is great, with a view of a historical church from the window. Just be aware that the entrance isn't marked properly and it can be a bit confusing to find - although nothing that a phonecall can't resolve.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We initially booked for 3 nights, but extended it to a further 5. It is in an excellent location, and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Breakfast varied everyday and we ate most nights, at a very good price and again it was delicious. Big thanks go to Lorena, her husband and Walter for making our stay very special.

Very welcoming and great facilities. Kitchen was great and hot showers were nice. It gets cold of a night but they provide lots of blankets to stay warm. Only short walk into town. We wish we could have stayed longer
