Beautiful refurbished old "mas" in the middle of the Priorat wine area. Great hiking possibilities in an unspoiled nature with cosy little old villages. Both Magdalena and Salvador are the perfect hosts, providing tips for visiting interesting places and booking meals in local restaurants. Perfect support when you are in trouble (arrangement made for car with flat tire to be picked-up by local garage)

Ca la Pubilla far exceeded our expectations. We had such a wonderful stay. It was so comfortable and Pili and her husband were exceptional hosts- they were so friendly and helpful and thought of all our needs travelling with a baby ! Great facilities to self cater and we could even order basics like milk prior to our arrival. Communication with Pili was fantastic and she was so quick to respond and recommend places to eat / shop/ the local pool only a 5 minute walk.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Located on a peach and nectarine farm, this is a Spanish equivalent to the Italian agroturismo. We stayed here in January and had the place to ourselves. There is an open rooftop terrace and eating/lounge area on the top floor with an honesty bar. We got a pizza in the nearby town (the town also had great grocery stores) and ate it while watching the sunset- perfect! The owner's niece spoke wonderful English and told us all about the property. We walked to the river after our delicious breakfast (a gorgeous spread of meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, coffee, bread with homemade jams, yogurt, and muesli). Our room was very comfortable and the shower was great.
