A delightful stay in an amazing part of Spain. The hosts made us very welcome. The whole place is tastefully done but the rooms are even nicer! The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was a delight. Huge shower! We went for a walk through the almond groves before dinner and the views were super! There are a number of different routes to take that have been marked out in colours. We took the short one! I would definitely recommend the supper option as Hilde is a great cook! To top it all we ended by watching the full moon come up over the hills! Perfect! In all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay at Luz de la Luna

This is great place to stay. The house has been beautifully restored and the views are incredible. Hilde and Jan are the perfect hosts and they have put a great deal of passion and energy into this house and created a welcoming, homely and relaxed environment. We did several walks around the house in the morning and early evening which were wonderful and we loved the tranquility and scenery. Thank you, we will be back….

Beautiful scenery, quiet location, perfect for walks. The apartments are individually decorated and suitable for a variety of occasions. The Almond apartment is perfect for a romantic gateaway. The Majocar apartment is perfect for a family. We went as a large group 7 people and booked 3 apartments which was perfect. Perfect location for walks. Close to Almeria airport and beach. The restaurant was one of the best we have been to, fresh organic food prepared on the day by James and Mary. Menu has a wide variety of foods.

Property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable, also lots of leaflets and magazines with great ideas of places to visit ( all the local markets were listed) Hosts offered help when needed but were not intrusive and left us to enjoy our holiday.

As a party of 6 we stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The interior and exterior of the property was fantastic. Very modern and well designed making it very cosy. A bottle of cava was waiting on arrival and Edwin welcomed us. He was a super friendly host. The pool and outside area with the bar would be great in the summer time!
